Scott Lea
(Vocals, Piano, Harmonica, Melodica)
Scott
has been in the music industry professionally since 1975 playing guitar and
singing in cover bands. He started writing and polishing his original material
during the late seventies that's when Joe Jackson entered the scene. "I saw
Joe Jackson at Montclair State College in the gym back in 79' and it was that
intimate informal raw energy that sparked my enthusiasm and appreciation for JJ".
Scott signed his first record contract as an artist in 1983 with several more
deals to follow. Those record credits along with an entry for Grammy Nomination
allowed Scott to be accepted as a member of the prestiged National Academy of
Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS). Becoming a member opened the door for Scott
to attend the Grammy Awards year after year and share ideas with the likes of
Stevie Wonder, Hewey Lewis, Bruce Springsteen and countless others in the music
business. Grey Russell who worked with everyone from Aerosmith to ZZ Top
produced Scott's first single and that friendship launched Scott's career as a
record producer where he went on to score numerous chart toppers and a platinum
record in 1989. Now Scott brings his experiences and talents to the stage with
the energetic power tribute to Joe Jackson's early years with "Look
Sharp".

with "Desert Moon" a top San Diego country band. Relocating back to
the New York area Nick Mancini played Latin percussion and sang lead vocals for
a top New York entertainment agency in a band called "Fate" performing
at major galas in the Tri-state area. Nick is no stranger to the club scene, he

the bass leads. Its great to have been reunited after 20 years with Scott and
Nick and adding Hal doing the JJ music again .

compositions. Hal was thrilled to be asked to participate in the Look Sharp
tribute project. "JJ's early band had so much raw energy and it was super
tight. You can't help but have a blast playing this stuff. Gary Sanford
(guitarist for JJ) raised the bar and showed off what a strong rhythm guitar
player can do for a band."
